England coach Gareth Southgate is delighted to count on the leadership of Liverpool captain Jordon Henderson.

Henderson will play his 50th England game tonight against Montenegro.

He said: “Jordan's qualities as a player have been under-appreciated.

“He is such an important player for us and has been for the last couple of managers. He has a winning mentality and good players make others play well.

“That is what you do when you are leader like he is. That is amongst his top qualities."
