England boss Gareth Southgate has a positive update on Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
The centre-back is not fully fit after suffering an ankle injury late in the club season, which caused him to miss the Europa League final and all England's recent matches.
Maguire did not play in their opening group stage game of Euro 2020 against Croatia - a 1-0 win.
"He's had a few days training with the team and we are really pleased with the progress," the Three Lions boss told ITV as England prepare to take on Scotland on Friday.
"We have got to make a decision in the next couple of days. He's certainly further ahead than we might have dared to hope when it got to the end of the season.
"Everything he has done up to this point, there has been no reaction. We're really pleased with his progress."
