England U21 coach Gareth Southgate has urged West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison to make the most of his QPR loan move.
Southgate intends to mentor the midfielder.
Morrison has scored twice in his three Under-21's appearances. and Southgate said: "I have had brief chats with him during the last couple of months.
"It is something I want to speak to him over the next couple of days about in more detail.
"I think for players of that age they are going to have that path where there is a high and a dip.
"I don't think it is a massive negative to be dropping back down into the Championship if he is getting regular football.
"This is a little challenge for him but he has the ability to be successful.
"He is at his happiest when he is on the training ground and in the team.
"If he is not then that is a big part of his life that is missing."
