Southend keeper Bentley on West Ham radar

The Daily Mail reports that West Ham United have joined the list of interested clubs in Southend United play-off hero Daniel Bentley.

The 21-year old goalkeeper saved two penalties to help his side defeat Wycombe Wanderers in the League Two play-off final penalty shootout at Wembley on Saturday.

According to the report, Brentford, Wolves, Bournemouth, and Burnley have also sent scouts to monitor his performances.

Earlier this season, Bentley set a new club record of 11 consecutive home clean sheets which attracted interest from the aforementioned clubs as well as the Hammers.
