Southend have arranged for West Bromwich Albion keeper Luke Daniels to remain for a further month. His initial agreement was due to expire on November 26 but the latest deal with Albion means he will now stay at Roots Hall for the majority of the hectic Christmas period.
Daniels has made four appearances for Southend who currently head League Two.
