Southampton are ready to splash out big for Benfica attacker Ola John.
John has been watched by Southampton scouts this season and Benfica rate him at around £6m.
The 22-year-old is in his third year with the Portuguese giants having moved from FC Twente in 2012.
John went on loan with Hamburg for the second half of last season.
