Southampton youngster Yan Valery recalls a story about how he got some Christmas money from Sadio Mane as a youth player.
Valery was tasked with cleaning Mane's boots when he was a youth player and Mane was in the senior Southampton squad.
Mane helped Valery settle at the club when he arrived in 2015 from Rennes, as they both speak French.
And Valery told RMC Sport about how he got some cash off Mane as well.
He said: "At Southampton, when you're an Under-18, you have to clean the boots of a player from the first team and they give you a bit of money at Christmas.
"They gave me Sadio Mane because he spoke French and my English wasn't great.
"When I went to train with them at 16 under Ronald Koeman, he translated for me and gave me tips.
"He gave me advice on certain words to use on the pitch that helped me in games and in the future."
