Southampton haven't dropped interest in Manchester United fullback Brandon Williams.
Williams is reportedly the subject of interest from Southampton again and Ralph Hasenhuttl looks set to test Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's resolve for a second time.
The Saints had a loan approach for the youngster rebuffed earlier this summer after Solskjaer blocked the deal due to the uncertainty surrounding United's left-back options.
Williams has featured just twice for the first team this season and both appearances were in the Carabao Cup.
According to The Athletic, the situation has enticed Southampton to chance their arm once again.
Williams has shown his versatility for United, ever since he burst onto the scene following his debut in the League Cup against Rochdale.
He is comfortable at both full-back and wing-back and his versatility makes him an attractive option for the Saints.
