Southampton are preparing a bid for Malaga striker Sandro.

The Mirror says Sandro is in the frame to join Southampton this summer.

The Spain Under-21 international, who has been on the Tottenham radar in recent windows, has scored 12 goals for the La Liga strugglers this season.

Now, Saints boss Claude Puel - who has been without England striker Charlie Austin for much of his debut campaign in English football - is ready to trigger the 21-year-old's £5million release clause to bring him to the south coast.
