Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is chasing Fenerbahce attacker Dirk Kuyt.
The Mirror says Koeman wants to bring fellow Dutchman Kuyt back to the Premier League in January.
Kuyt, 34, ended a six-year spell in England when he quit Liverpool for Turkish giants Fenerbahce in 2012.
Koeman was keen to sign the former Holland international when in charge of Rotterdam side Feyenoord two years ago, and is now ready to try and land him once more.
