Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini is backing Maurizio Sarri for success with Chelsea.

Gabbiadini played for Sarri at Napoli.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I thank him, a great coach who gives everything on the pitch, with his teams they offered a spectacle everywhere and against everyone, and he will do well in the Premier."

Gabbiadini also spoke of Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez, who he played for at the San Paolo.

"Compared to Sarri, he pays more attention to the person, a great international coach who has won a lot, he has taught me a lot like all the managers I have worked with in my career."
