Southampton striker Danny Ings praised their character after they ended a run of three straight Premier League defeats with a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Molineux.
Ings, who opened the scoring on 53 minutes, now has three goals in his last three league outings, taking his overall tally to six for the season.
Despite Raúl Jiménez levelling from the penalty spot just past the hour-mark, Saints held on to pick up an important point on the road to leave Ings in buoyant mood.
“I felt we could've won it," he said. “But the way that we hung in there at the end showed real character from us after three defeats.
“Obviously they scored from the spot which was unlucky for us, but to hang in there at the end was great."
