Southampton are eyeing Villarreal winger Alfonso Pedraza.

The 20 year-old is on-loan this season at Lugo, where he has caught the eye of Saints scouts.

Sporting Gijon are also interested in taking Pedraza off Villarreal's hands this month.

El Mundo Deportivo says Saints chiefs are in contact with Villarreal about the youngster's situation and weighing up whether to sign him immediately or wait until the summer.
