Southampton sets unwanted record for Man City boss Guardiola

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has set a record against Southampton in the Premier League.

But it is not one the Spaniard will be happy about.

It is the first time that Guardiola has lost three consecutive away league matches in management.

His team had over 70 percent of possession and more than 20 shots, but a Che Adams wonder strike undid them 1-0 at the weekend.

It is a result that does not mean much for City in terms of this season, as they are comfortably in the top four.

But Guardiola will know that such poor away form cannot continue next term if they are to have any hope of winning the Premier League back from Liverpool.
