Southampton scout Tord Grip has confirmed he's watching AIK striker Kennedy Igboananike.

The young Nigerian has been a revelation in Sweden this season.

"He has qualities to play in a higher league, there's no doubt about it. I have referred him to Southampton, but that he is unable to obtain a work permit - or, I do not think so - it's a problem.

"He is not a Swedish citizen and does not have enough caps (for Nigeria). But there are several countries that may be interesting for him," Grip told SportExpressen.se.
