Southampton have made a new offer for Lecce midfielder Morten Hjulmand.

TMW says Saints have made a €11m bid for the defensive midfield pivot.

One of the great revelations of this season's Serie A, drawn to Salento from Admira Wacker, Hjulmand is a priority target for Southampton.

Lecce had already rejected a previous proposal from Saints.

But a third offer is now being planned for Hjulmand.
