Southampton have named Jisheng Gao as new chairman.
Majority shareholder Gao succeeds Ralph Krueger, whose departure as chairman was announced in April.
The Gao family, from China, became majority owners in August 2017 when they acquired an 80 per cent stake in the south coast club.
Gao will now assume the role that has been filled by Krueger for the last six years.
Vice-chairman Martin Semmens has also been handed a new role in Southampton's new board structure.
Semmens has been named Southampton's chief executive and will be in charge of the club on a day-to-day basis.
