Southampton miss chance to go third after Wolves draw

Southampton missed the chance to go third after sharing a point with Wolves at Molineux on Monday.

Saints went ahead after 58 minutes when Theo Walcott steered in Che Adams' cross.

It was Walcott's first Premier League goal for the club since 2005.

However, Pedro Neto levelled for the hosts with 15 minutes remaining.

Walcott had a terrific chance to win the game but could not convert past Rui Patricio.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side remain in fifth with 17 points, while Wolves move up three places to ninth.
