Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has revealed how he was coached by the father of Chelsea starlet Mason Mount when a junior.
He has worked hard on being more aggressive and on being a set piece specialist.
Ward-Prowse told the Mirror: “I've probably lacked aggression in my game. Even as a youngster, my dad put me into one-on-one coaching with Tony Mount, Mason's dad, and Mason would come along and we'd have a session together to toughen us up.
“Now it's a case of going out with no fear, maybe it's not my profile as a player but the position I'm in and the way the manager wants us to play, you have to do it. You have to go out, leave a few on some people and change a bit. It's definitely benefitted my game."
