Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama would welcome Europa League qualification.
The £12m former Celtic star scored a memorable Champions League winner against Barcelona and would relish a return to European action.
Wanyama said: "The Europa League is a good thing to play if you are not in the Champions League. It is just the matter of fixture congestion.
"If you get the chance to play in the Europa League we will have to take it. It will be special for us to have a little bit of experience.
"They are really good games. You get to play against bigger clubs and against world class players."
