Southampton midfielder Stuart Armstrong says their 3-0 defeat at West Ham was "disappointing".
In their final away day of the 2018/19 season, Ralph Hasenhüttl's side were soundly beaten.
"I think it was a disappointing day for us overall, especially out of possession. We struggled to get close to them, put pressure on them which we're normally quite good at as a team," Armstrong told the club's website.
“With the ball, we had some good moments and some good spells. On another day, perhaps a chance goes in and it changes the game. I think in the end not taking our chances and not dominating the game cost us.
“That's the Premier League for you. No matter how the game is going a team can break away and punish you. That's what happened today."
