Southampton midfielder Jordy Clasie is returning to Feyenoord.

Voetbal International says Saints have agreed to allow the Holland international to join Feyenoord on a season-long loan. He spent last season with Club Brugge.

Feyenoord had explored signing Clasie outright, but couldn't afford Saints' terms.

The midfielder left Feyenoord three years ago for €15m, but has struggled to make an impression at St Mary's.

Earlier this summer, Clasie conceded he and his family had not enjoyed their time away from Holland.
