Arsenal are returning to training today at London Colney amid the coronavirus lockdown.
“Safety is the biggest priority and we'll only return to playing and training when it's safe to do so," he told the Mirror. “Everyone is keen to get back as soon as possible.
“Everyone is missing it, but ultimately safety is the biggest priority and that's what we've got to wait for.
“People want to watch football. If they had a choice they would be in the stadium and, as players, we would like them to be in the stadium. I'm not sure on the plan, how it would work and a timescale.
“I can't speak for everyone, but I would like to go back to playing football sooner rather than later."
