Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl says the club won't stop when they reach the 40 point mark.
The Saints have all but guaranteed their safety by beating Watford on Sunday, the first time they've reached the mark in three seasons.
"We are looking for the last six games and we know we can still take a lot of points," Hasenhuttl said, via the Daily Echo.
"We have this record run of away games, but we have to because our home record is going in the opposite way.
"It's not interesting where we take the points, what's important is that we take them.
"We can enjoy these games because we have 40 points but it's important for us that we take as many points as possible.
"We can climb a few steps in the table and hopefully we will do it."
