Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has said there has been no progress in contract talks with Danny Ings.

The Englishman will become a free agent in the summer of 2022, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City looking to swoop for his signature.

Asked about Ings's contract situation ahead of facing Chelsea this weekend, Hasenhuttl told the Daily Echo it was not "on the topic this week".

He added: "I cannot tell you anything different now.

"It wasn't on the topic this week to be honest. I have other things to concentrate on."
