Southampton and Liverpool are going head-to-head for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.

The Mirror says Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino sent his scouts to watch Wanyama play against Motherwell last weekend and is readying a £10 million bid.

The Kenyan defender is also attracting the interest of Manchester United and Arsenal after starring for The Bhoys in their Champions League run this season.
