Championship club Southampton will reportedly make an ambitious move for AS Roma left-back John Arne Riise.
The 30-year old former Liverpool star looks to be on his way out at Roma following the arrival of new manager Luis Enrique and it is believed that the Saints are trying to lure him to St Mary's Stadium.
Riise has also been loosely linked with an Anfield return but that seems to have disappeared and it will be interesting to see if Southampton actually come in with a concrete offer for the Norwegian.
