Fraser Forster has been withdrawn from the England squad for this weekend's clash with Slovakia.
The Southampton goalkeeper is out of Sam Allardyce's plans for Sunday's opening 2018 World Cup qualifier in Trnava due to an arm injury.
Forster will return to the south coast for treatment on the issue in a bid to be fit for the Saints' Premier League clash with Arsenal on September 10.
The absence of Forster indicates that Manchester City's Joe Hart, who has joined Torino on a season-long loan, is likely to start for the Three Lions despite missing the beginning of the new club season.
