Southampton keeper Forster emerges as Courtois contingency at Chelsea

Fraser Forster is a summer transfer target for Chelsea according to reports.

The Daily Mail suggests that the Blues have the Southampton goalkeeper in their sights as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois.

The Belgian is of interest to Real Madrid and could be off at the end of the season if the Spanish giants fail to land their number one target David De Gea from Manchester United.

If Chelsea happen to lose Courtois, the West Londoners may make a move for England international Forster who has been in solid form for the Saints since returning from a serious knee injury earlier this year.

The former Celtic star is contracted at St Mary's until the summer of 2018 but could be tempted by the chance to link up with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
