Werder Bremen midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic is a £6m target for Southampton and Huddersfield Town.

The Daily Star says Terriers boss David Wagner has targeted the Austria international as his 10th summer signing for the Premier League new boys.

But he faces stiff competition from recently installed Saints chief Mauricio Pellegrino, who is a big admirer of the 29-year-old former Austria Vienna ace.

Junuzovic has just entered the final year of his contract with Bremen, and the Bundesliga outfit want him to sign a new deal.

But Junuzovic, who has already rejected a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor, is keen to continue his career in England's top flight.
