Southampton striker Che Adams does not believe his role within the team is changing due to the absence of Danny Ings.
Adams and Ings thrived in a partnership up front before the latter suffered a knee injury.
He is expected to be back mid to late December.
Asked if his role has now changed in the team with Ings being out, Adams told the Daily Echo: "No, I think it's just the same.
"Everyone knows their roles and responsibilities and I think it's upsetting what's happened to Ingsy, but we can only go on what we've got and hopefully we can get the points on Monday.
"It was a huge three points in the end (against Newcastle).
"We had people playing out of position but we handled it well and we played a good game I think."
