Southampton are on the brink of signing Inter Milan midfielder Saphir Taider.
The 22-year-old is on course to move to St Mary's on a season long loan from Inter Milan, with Dani Osvaldo moving in the opposite direction - also on loan, says the Daily Echo.
Taider only signed for Inter from Bologna last summer, making 25 Serie A appearances in 2013/14 - of which 12 came off the bench.
Osvaldo will return to Italy after an unsuccessful loan spell with champions Juventus in the second half of last season.
