Southampton face competition from Sevilla for Bordeaux striker Francois Kamano.

L'Equipe says Sevilla chief Monchi has stepped into the battle for Kamano, with talks underway with Bordeaux over a fee.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is eager to land a new striker and also has lodged a bid for Birmingham City striker Che Adams.

And they're also in contact with Kamano about move to England.

It's emerged that while Sevilla are in club-to-club talks, Saints are in contact with the 23 year-old's minders about a summer switch.
