Southampton are eager to tie down winger Dusan Tadic to a new contract, according to the Daily Star.

The Serbian international, who still has two years left on his deal, has been one of the standout performers for the Saints since his move from FC Twente in 2014.

The 27-year-old was reportedly plotting a summer exit from the club due to his fallout with former boss Ronald Koeman but has changed his mind following the arrival of new manager Claude Puel.

Tadic has scored 14 goals and provided 23 assists in 77 appearances in all competitions for the Saints over the last two seasons.
