Southampton are cutting loose defender Kevin Danso.

The defender spent last season on-loan from FC Augsburg.

And Rheinische Post says Danso will be on the move again this summer, with Fortuna Dusseldorf keen.

Danso is refusing to stay with Augsburg after their relegation and instead hopes to join Fortuna in a loan deal.

For Saints, Danso managed only six league appearances and so was released at the end of the Premier League season.
