Southampton are confident over Gao Jisheng's commitment to the club despite him losing control of Lander Sports.

The Chinese businesses has lost a controlling interest in his Lander company after a share sale.

Jisheng paid Katharina Liebherr £210m for an 80 per cent stake in the club last year.

The news of Jisheng's loss has sparked concern for some Saints fans.

However, the Daily Echo reports that Jisheng is simply restricting his business portfolio and remains committed to the south coast club.
