Southampton are chasing Anderlecht starlet Yari Verschaeren.

The Daily Mail says Verschaeren is attracting strong interest from Southampton after making his senior Belgium debut at the age of just 18.

The Anderlecht starlet came on as a substitute during his country's 4-0 Euro 2020 qualifying victory over Scotland at Hampden Park.

It is the latest milestone in a stunning rise for the teenager, who has scored twice in 21 league games for the Belgian Pro League side.

Having joined Anderlecht at the age of nine, Verschaeren made his first team debut on 25 November 2018 against Sint-Truiden.
