Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Højbjerg hopes Denmark can remain among the hosts for the Euros next year.

There is a danger the tournament will be pulled from Denmark due to a clash with the Tour de France.

Højbjerg said, "It is very unfortunate if our national team players are not allowed to experience the European Championships at home, which we have been looking forward to and emotionally and mentally prepared for.

"It is a pity if it is not possible.

"I have an apartment in Østerbro, where I can look over the Parken from the roof terrace. Since I was a kid I have been walking up and down the Parken."
