Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is chasing Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

The Daily Express says an initial offer of around £4m was kicked into touch by Celtic, but Saints boss Koeman - backed by goalkeeping coach and England backroom man Dave Watson - is expected to make an increased bid.

Benfica - who failed in a bid to land Forster last summer - are also monitoring the situation and could come back in, although the price could be prohibitive.
