Southampton boss Hasenhuttl worried about complacency

Ralph Hasenhuttl has warned his Southampton players against complacency following Saturday's loss to West Ham United.

The 3-1 defeat means Saints are only seven points above the drop zone, despite sitting in 13th on the table.

Asked if he thought complacency crept in at the London Stadium, Hasenhuttl said: "If anybody believes we are safe then we have a problem.

"We have to fight for every point because if we don't do that then we won't get them.

"We were not the team that we were to get to 34 points.

"What's disappointing for me is that against a team that likes to play physical we weren't able to defend well.

"This is an issue we must face, and we must be very honest about it.

"If we can't change it in the season then we will have to address it in the summer."
