Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl insists they won't lay down against Liverpool on Tuesday night.
Manchester City's draw at West Ham on Sunday kept alive Liverpool's hopes of winning the title, but Hasenhuttl has promised that Saints will not lack determination in their final home game of the season on Tuesday night — even though they are now safe from relegation.
"They (Southampton fans) know what team we are facing," said Hasenhuttl, "how tough it is, what run of form they are on and, even if they have some injuries, how tough it will be against the Champions League finalists.
"It is our Champions League final if you want and we are going for this with everything we have and the team that is on the pitch is the team that will do everything to make them proud."
On Southampton's big-game home form, Hasenhuttl said: "Tottenham, we were one man down and did a fantastic job (to draw 1-1).
"Against Arsenal we won, against Manchester City we have drawn, against Manchester United we have drawn also.
"We've shown against top teams that we can together achieve something very big. That is what we need on Tuesday."
