Ralph Hasenhuttl has said he didn't know what happened during an incident with Spurs counterpart Jose Mourinho and the Southampton bench.

Mourinho was booked in the 77th minute after he entered the Saints technical area and appeared to read the notes of assistant manager Andrew Sparkes.

The Saints boss said: "I was so concentrated on my team I don't know what happened behind me.

"I have a very high opinion about this manager he has done so much for football in his management career against this team today.

"It's not easy to play against such a strong side and we should more talk about my team today."
