Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is reluctant to lose Che Adams.
The Mirror says Southampton remain adamant Adams will not be leaving on loan to join Leeds.
Leeds still hope to prise Adams away from Southampton because they believe the former Sheffield United striker is interested in joining them.
But Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl insists Adams will not be allowed to quit St Mary's this month because he is a key member of his squad.
Although Adams has lost his starting place to the in-form Danny Ings, he came off the bench to create Southampton's winner at Leicester on Saturday.
Hasenhuttl feels he would be weakening his squad by letting the hitman, who cost £15million from Birmingham last summer, leave now.
