Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl says the key to silencing Dominic Calvert-Lewin is cutting Everton's supply lines.
With Saints sealing a convincing 2-0 victory, England striker Calvert-Lewin barely had a kick against Hasenhuttl's hosts.
Asked how his side managed to contain the in-form striker, Hasenhuttl said: “He is strong when he gets the ball in the spaces he needs, so the first thing is that you block the passes – that he doesn't get the chances.
“The rest is about defending in and around the box and I think the back four did fantastic.
“It was the reason why it was so tough for him."
