Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl praised skipper James Ward-Prowse after defeat to Manchester United.
After the 3-2 defeat, Hasenhuttl singled out Ward-Prowse who scored a spectacular free kick and whose corner provided the assist for Jan Bednarek's headed opener.
He said: “Not only his free-kicks but his work for the team is always good. In the end it was not enough to take something.
"This is a little bit frustrating but when you look deeper you see how many things we did today so we are not disappointed."
Up next for Southampton is a trip to Brighton next Monday, while United return to action on Wednesday for a Champions League clash with PSG.
