Southampton boss Nigel Adkins wants a new striker signing next month.
The Mirror says Adkins has striker Billy Sharp at Nottingham Forest and Lee Barnard at Bournemouth on loan.
But he is looking for a class striker to play alongside Rickie Lambert in the Saints attack.
