Premier League clubs are monitoring Sergi Samper's situation at Barcelona.

The talented midfielder has found himself frozen out by Barca B coach Jordi Vinyals in recent games as they battle against relegation from the Segunda Division.

Samper is rated among Barca's brightest young talents, but has been at odds with Vinyals since the coach's appointment.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Southampton have all had scouts posted at Barca B games this season. Indeed, Saints boss Ronald Koeman saw Vinyals' team in action last month.

Interestingly, Vinyals has preferred Patric to Samper in recent weeks. Patric is off contract in June and in talks with AS Roma.
