Southampton will not appeal Nathan Redmond's red card against Tottenham, boss Claude Puel has confirmed.

The forward was shown a straight card for bringing down Dele Alli in the 4-1 defeat at St Mary's on Wednesday.

Puel was asked on Thursday whether the club would appeal the decision after taking overnight to consider their options, and he simply replied "no".
