SuperSport United midfielder Lyle Lakay is lined up for a trial with Tottenham Hotspur, reports kickoff.com. Lakay is the second player at United to attend trials at Spurs after defender Bongani Khumalo tried his luck with the English side just before the transfer window period closed at the end of August.
The Matsatsantsa midfielder's business manager Michael Hughes at Stella Africa confirms that the player will be leaving for England at the end of this month.
"They only want to assess him and if he impresses they may consider taking him on board in the near future," says Hughes.
