Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been accused of diving against West Bromwich Albion.

Maguire appealed for a penalty in the second half when the scores were 1-1.

The penalty was initially given, but the referee changed his mind after viewing television footage. And Liverpool hero Souness believes Maguire dived.

"It's clearly offside and he goes to ground as though he's been hit with a baseball bat. Diving!" said the Scot, speaking on Sky Sports.

"He said he thinks it's a penalty. It's not enough to bring him down the way he goes down.

"He throws himself to the ground. It's not a penalty."
